Job Summary
Drive, deliver, and unload building materials to construction sites in the Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, and Albany areas, occasionally staying overnight for out-of-state jobs. Perform physical hand unloading, stage products using a forklift or pallet jack, and process delivery manifests with an RF scanner. Pick up customer returns and assist in warehouse maintenance while maintaining a clean work area. Communicate issues to the dispatcher and participate in assigned training. Operate a 24-26 foot box truck for an 8-10 hour shift, Monday through Saturday, starting at 7:00am.

- Knowledge of and ability to operate a forklift
- Be able to drive a 24-26 foot box truck
- Able to maintain medical certificate card for the NYDMV
- Able to Maintain a clean driving abstract
- Physically demanding job that requires being able to stand and sit for duration of shift
- Physical lifting up to 125 pounds frequently
- Must have held a valid driver's license for a minimum of 4 years
- Minimum of 2 years driving a 24- 26 ft. box truck for deliveries
- 1- 2 years of warehouse experience
- Ability to use use basic hand tools and necessary equipment
- Advanced math and reading skills to perform job tasks and complete necessary paperwork
- Ability to follow oral and/or written instruction
- Employee must be reliable, punctual, and safety-minded, with a strong work ethic
- It is also important that you display a positive, helpful demeanor, and a commitment to providing the best in customer service
- Clean New York State Driver's License (Non-CDL Drivers)
- Occasional Out of state deliveries which may include overnight stays
Desired Qualifications
- Experience driving for a warehouse/distribution center preferred
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent preferred
