Job Summary
Operate a company vehicle safely and efficiently on daily delivery routes, loading and unloading products with care while adhering to all DOT regulations and safety procedures. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to report maintenance needs and maintain punctual delivery schedules through effective dispatch communication. This role requires a valid driver's license, clean MVR, and the ability to lift 50 lbs, with flexibility for varying schedules. Home daily with no overnight travel, McCarthy Tire Service offers weekly pay and opportunities for advancement within a supportive team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience within the last 3 years
- Valid driver's license (Class C, depending on vehicle type)
- Clean MVR
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass a DOT physical
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs safely
- Comfortable driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Flexibility to work varying schedules as needed
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
