Job Summary
Delivery Driver at LKQ Corporation responsible for safely operating a company vehicle to deliver parts to customers, loading/unloading the truck, verifying orders and obtaining signatures/receipts, handling payments when applicable, and ensuring compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations. Role emphasizes punctual, courteous delivery, accurate paperwork, and adherence to safety and company policies; includes potential overnight travel as position requirements and benefits package with health/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k) and other supportive programs. Emphasizes physical demands (lifting up to 75 pounds) and requirement to maintain safe driving and loading procedures while providing excellent customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Safe driving record
- Must qualify for Corporate insurance programs, including vehicle insurance
- Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma/GED preferred (optional from description) or no degree required
- 1+ years of delivery driving experience or related experience
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to follow procedures and use manuals/paperwork accurately
