Job Summary
Delivery Driver responsibilities include safely operating a Company vehicle to deliver product to customers, loading/unloading the truck, verifying parts loaded/unloaded, collecting payments, obtaining signatures, and delivering returns. Essential duties cover safe driving, loading/unloading, verifying manifests and paperwork, obtaining customer signatures, noting discrepancies, and providing receipts. Role requires compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations, excellent customer service during deliveries, and willingness to perform other duties as assigned. No supervisory responsibilities. Job emphasizes physical demands, safety, and potential travel/overnight stays as position requirements allow.
Required Qualifications
- Education & Experience: No Degree Required
- 1+ years of experience required
- Possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Must qualify for Corporate insurance programs, including vehicle insurance
- Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must comply with state and local mandated requirements as well as Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations
