Job Summary
Deliver material to customer shops and job sites, perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections to comply with DOT regulations, maintain and operate delivery truck and forklift, load/unload material, secure loads, check orders for accuracy, develop efficient delivery routes, communicate with customers, report problems with deliveries or material, train in safe usage of warehouse equipment, assist in warehouse duties including stocking and pulling orders, and adhere to OSHA and DOT safety rules while working with branch management.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience or training
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to read, write, and perform mathematical skills
