Job Summary
Deliver orders and collect payment from customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Make deliveries to residential and commercial locations, recording completed orders accurately into the POS system. Accept guest payment, handle credit card charges, and make change while maintaining equipment and work areas. Prioritize best routing for multiple deliveries and assist with restocking as needed. Be available to fill in shifts to ensure smooth store operations. Requires a valid California driver's license with two years of experience, a street-legal vehicle, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must possess basic math skills and read maps or GPS directions.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess a valid CA state driving license for 2 or more years.
- Driving experience for 2 or more years.
- Possess suitable communications skills to create a positive interaction experience with our customers.
- Have use of a properly maintained, licensed, and street-legal vehicle capable of driving
- Maintain minimal or higher insurance coverage as mandated by state law.
- Maintain an acceptable driving record as stipulated by company policy and insurance carrier.
- Possess a cell phone to use for calling customers upon arrival.
- Be capable of reading a map and interpreting GPS directions.
- Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and make change.
- Be able to work in a sitting while driving, standing, and walking position with frequent changes between positions.
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Have exceptional grooming and hygiene habits.
