Job Summary
Load the company truck at the branch, verify the manifest and paperwork, and safely operate the vehicle while adhering to traffic regulations. Drive to destinations to confirm orders, unload products, obtain signatures and payment, and make manifest notations for returns. Pick up buyout purchase orders from vendors and deliver parts back to the branch or customer, while collecting accounts receivable as necessary. Work in a manner that prevents shortages and damage, serving customers courteously and complying with all company policies. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, with daily hours varying between 8 and 10 based on volume.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of professional driving experience
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and physically load/unload truck with customer orders
- Excellent verbal, written, and auditory communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others
- Capacity to maintain composure and politeness under difficult circumstances
- Aptitude to be available and adjust working hours according to demands
- Monday – Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm (daily schedule may vary between 8-10 hour days based on volume of work)
