Job Summary
Deliver customers’ food orders to residential or commercial properties using a personal vehicle. Responsibilities include picking up orders, driving to customer addresses, delivering orders, performing catering setup, collecting payments, returning for additional orders, answering customer questions, and addressing order issues. Secondary duties include cleaning tasks and organizing products in the deli. Must memorize menu abbreviations and prices, read/write English, perform basic math, and handle money and credit card transactions. Education preferred is a high school diploma or GED; applicants should be 18+ with a valid driver’s license and a good driving history. The role includes a 90-day introductory performance evaluation and may involve flexible hours with both part-time and full-time opportunities. EOE.
Required Qualifications
- 18+ years old
- Valid State Driver's License
- own automobile
- history of good driving with DMV background (no or limited at-fault incidents, no major violations)
- proof of insurance
- read and write in English
- basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- ability to memorize menu abbreviations and prices
- ability to stand for long periods and operate a vehicle safely
- availability for day and/or night shifts
- ability to balance cash and card transactions
