Job Summary
Operate a refrigerated van to transport fresh floral products for daily deliveries to flower shops throughout the Indianapolis area. Load and unload shipments while properly handling floral products, then use pallet jacks and RF scanners to manage inventory efficiently. Follow assigned routes using GPS or maps to maximize efficiency and maintain product quality during transport. Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and report any maintenance concerns while adhering to DOT regulations. This full-time role requires lifting up to 60 pounds and working in a warehouse environment with a 6:00 AM start time.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience driving commercial vehicles (vans, 16-ft box trucks, or similar vehicles)
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 60 pounds
- Ability to pass required pre-employment screenings
