Job Summary
Deliver products to customers while collecting payment, making change, and returning cash to the store. Maintain food and groceries at proper temperatures, ensure vehicle cleanliness inside and out, and adhere to personal hygiene and dress guidelines. Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by greeting customers, learning their names, and treating them with care. Assist in other store areas as needed and facilitate the maintenance of delivery vehicles. Requires a valid driver's license with no DOT restrictions, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license, with no DOT restrictions
- Be 18 years or older to drive a company vehicle
- Must be physically able to perform medium work: occasionally lifting or carrying objects of no more than 50 pounds
- Must be physically able to perform frequent standing, walking, and lifting/carrying of objects of no more than 25 pounds
- Must be physically able to perform the following physical activities: stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions
- Must be physically able to enter and exit a delivery vehicle many times a day
- Must be physically able to traverse staircases and other rough terrain to reach delivery destination
- Ability to see detail at near range with or without correction
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre employment drug screen
