Job Summary
Assist the Delivery Driver with product delivery, merchandising, and stocking shelves in large volume stores. Unload and move product using appropriate equipment while rotating inventory, setting up displays, and organizing storage rooms. Communicate issues and opportunities to the Route Driver or Supervisor to ensure customer satisfaction. Adhere to all driving and safety regulations, company policies, and federal/state laws regarding alcohol sales. Maintain a valid Montana driver's license and represent Summit Beverage professionally. Work Tuesday through Friday from 6:00 am to end of shift, with rotating Saturdays and shifts ranging from 10 to 12 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Montana driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to be insured under a company insurance policy
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time (including bending, reaching, lifting, pulling, etc.)
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and independently with good time management
- Must be able to read and interpret documentation and use computer/tablet/similar office equipment
- Must be able to see to drive
- Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with employees and business contacts
- Must be aware of environment when driving
- Minimum of four 10-hour days Tuesday – Friday, with rotating Saturdays
- Ability to lift 50-60lbs
- Ability to lift up to 165lbs occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous stocking/merchandising in grocery, retail, or beverage experience
