Job Summary
Deliver orders safely from the warehouse to destinations using a Graybar truck or van, ensuring on-time arrival and maintaining positive customer relations. Help determine best routes to meet customer expectations while loading and unloading trucks with warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks. Inspect vehicles and supplies, maintain proper truck logs, and promote services and products during deliveries. Work a local Monday-Friday route from 6:00am to 3:00pm with no overnights or weekends away. This role requires a valid driver's license, experience driving vehicles equal or below 26,000 GVW, and the ability to pass DOT medical exam and physical testing.
Required Qualifications
- Customer service skills
- Ability to perform the physical requirements necessary to work in a warehouse environment
- Must pass pre-employment physical testing
- Safely operate warehouse equipment and proper use of PPE
- Experience required driving a van or truck equal or below 26,000 GVW
- Must have a valid driver's license issued by his/her state of residence appropriate for type of vehicle
- Must be able to pass DOT medical exam and Commercial Motor Vehicle Certification
- Must be available for Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 3:00pm
- Must work a local route – no overnights or weekends away
