Job Summary
Operate company vans, pickup trucks, or straight trucks to transport materials and equipment to local and metro destinations while verifying delivery receipts, counts, and proper carrier placement. Determine packing requirements, manage packing slips, and perform routine checks on power lift equipment, truck maintenance, and safety procedures including lock-out-tag-out and OSHA rules. Locate items on delivery lists, prepare next day's shipments, and maintain security and confidentiality. Complete annual driver safety classes and forklift training, maintain a clean MVR, and comply with all company policies and irregular work hours.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Motor Vehicle Driver's License with no moving violations for previous three years
- Ability to obtain a forklift operator's license
- Ability to obtain a Medical Certification Card
- Ability to complete annual driver safety classes
- Ability to complete all required training courses upon hire and annually thereafter
- Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Exclusion from the System for Award Management (SAM) List of Excluded Individuals and Entities (LEIE) prior to hire and ongoing throughout their tenure at the company
