Job Summary
Deliver a wide variety of items to residents and businesses in the Ogden area while following routes and time schedules. Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle safely, repeatedly lifting and carrying packages up to 150 lbs. Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve client complaints, then complete logs and reports and attend weekly meetings covering questions, concerns, complaints, and safety. Adhere to DOT regulations and safety standards. Work Monday through Friday from approximately 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional weekend days and one weekly late pickup shift until 5:30 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
- Valid driver's license
- Must be 21 years old
- Must have a valid Driver License with a clean driver's record
- Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to operate Delivery Vans/Trucks in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
- Must be able to repeatedly lift and carry packages up to 150 lbs. (handtruck available)
- High school or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Route driving 1 year ( preferred )
