Job Summary
Drive a delivery truck in your assigned zone to deliver products to customers' homes or businesses, ensuring safe vehicle operations and directing trucks into unloading areas. Load and unload merchandise at customer locations, obtain signatures on receipts, and record deliveries on delivery records. Monitor and maintain vehicle safety, perform general maintenance, and track fuel usage. Unload goods from warehouse trucks, maintain cleanliness of store and warehouse grounds, and place stock on shelves or racks. Assist with repossessions, perform customer service inspections, and conduct collection field calls as directed by management. This role requires a valid State Driver's License, DOT qualification, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds regularly. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- six months experience in a distribution or warehouse environment
- any combination of training, experience and education which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position
- Must possess and maintain a valid State Drivers License
- general familiarity with the delivery area
- Must be able to meet DOT requirements
- Medical Examiners Certification
- Driver's DOT qualification file
- ability to exert heavy physical effort
- ability to climb and balance
- ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl
- ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull objects of moderately heavy weight up to 100 pounds
- ability to handle heavier objects in excess of 100 pounds

- ability to perceive and discriminate sounds
- ability to perceive and discriminate depth
- ability to perceive and discriminate visual cues or signals
- ability to communicate orally
- ability to exert heavy physical effort, regularly involving some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and/or crawling and which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderately heavy weight (up to 100 pounds) and occasionally involving handling heavier objects (in excess of 100 pounds)
