Job Summary
Drive a delivery truck in your assigned zone to deliver merchandise to customer homes or businesses, ensuring safe vehicle operations and directing trucks into unloading areas. Load trucks for daily deliveries, unload merchandise at customer locations, and set up displays as necessary. Obtain customer signatures on receipts and record all deliveries on the delivery record for management. Monitor and maintain vehicles, performing general maintenance, recording fuel usage, and conducting safety inspections. Uphold company standards by maintaining cleanliness of the warehouse and performing general grounds keeping duties. Assist with stock placement, assembly, repossessions, and customer service inspections as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- six months experience in a distribution or warehouse environment
- any combination of training, experience and education which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position
- Must possess and maintain a valid State Drivers License
- general familiarity with the delivery area
- Must be able to meet DOT requirements
- Medical Examiners Certification
- Driver's DOT qualification file

- ability to calculate decimals and utilize principles of fractions
- ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form
- ability to exercise judgment, decisiveness and creativity in dealing with situations involving repetitive or short cycle operations or duties carried out according to set procedures
