Job Summary
Prepare and review orders, match products to purchase orders, and perform vehicle inspections before departing. Transport, unload, and deliver items safely to prevent damage, spoilage, or loss while adhering to time and route schedules. Check orders post-delivery to confirm accuracy and maintain clean, safe operating conditions for all vehicles. Process required paperwork and maintain adequate records for deliveries and tracking. Requires a Class 1A license, air brake endorsement, and experience driving 5-ton trucks. Drives typically span 4-6 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Class 1A license or Air brake endorsement certificate and clean driver abstract
- Experience in driving 5-ton truck
- Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting (up to 75lbs) using safe lifting methods
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
