Job Summary
Operate a Sprinter van to deliver aftermarket collision auto parts, following optimized routes and verifying items against invoices upon arrival. Collect payments from customers using cash and checks, reporting discrepancies immediately, while addressing inquiries and maintaining positive relationships. Conduct daily vehicle inspections, perform routine maintenance, and adhere to strict safety protocols during loading, unloading, and transit. Maintain accurate records of routes, transactions, and mileage, submitting reports as required. Work Monday through Friday with no weekends, requiring the ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to handle cash and financial transactions accurately
- Familiarity with using technology such as GPS navigation and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and carry heavy automotive parts, often weighing up to 60 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to sit and drive for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, and crouch
- Proficiency in handling and counting cash, checks, and receipts accurately
- Adequate vision to read maps, GPS devices, and complete paperwork accurately
- Sufficient hearing to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and other road users
- Ability to follow safety protocols, recognize potential hazards, and respond appropriately
- Physical stamina to work extended hours and complete deliveries within established timelines
- Ability to handle the demands of a physically active job
- M-F work week; No weekends
