Job Summary
Conduct timely, courteous food deliveries ensuring all products arrive on time and error-free. Verify orders are complete, load vehicles correctly, and maintain tidy, professional personal and vehicle appearance. Uphold safety and sanitation standards by driving legally, parking safely, and keeping workstations clean. Assist customers with double-checking deliveries and ensure presentation quality of all foods in transport. Maintain a neat, clean appearance and adhere to uniform policies while complying with all company policies and supervisor requests.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of previous driving experience
- Current Food Handler certification
- Customer service experience
- Current, valid Driver's License
- Valid Car Insurance
- Clean driving record for past 3 years
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance
- Must be available to work Tuesday through Saturday, primarily in afternoons and evenings
- Must be available 7 days per week between the hours of 6 am and 6 pm
- Must be able to work in refrigerated areas and on surfaces that can be wet and slippery
- Must work with exposure to dust, mold, gluten, fragrances and other fumes and airborne particles, fresh fruits, vegetables, house plants, and flowers
- Must work in proximity to and using common commercial cleaning agents
- Must be able to perform consistently required physical demands: stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, grasp, twist and turn, talk, listen and hear
- Must be able to perform fine finger manipulations and repetitive motions with hands and feet
- Must be able to stoop and climb ladders or stepstools
- Must be able to sit, crawl and climb stairs as needed
- Must have medium to high physical strength
- Must be able to use near and peripheral vision, in addition to depth perception
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- At least 1 year of customer service/delivery/ food service experience
- Candidates who are available 7 days per week between the hours of 6 am and 6 pm are highly desirable
