Job Summary
Conduct daily safety checks on the delivery vehicle, review manifests, and load the truck for residential and commercial petroleum product deliveries. Follow federal and state regulations while communicating with dispatchers and reporting customer concerns or problems. Maintain a clean uniform, interact professionally with all customers, and respect property. Use the Raven handheld device proficiently and keep the truck organized with appropriate tools and safety equipment. Prime furnaces for out-of-oil customers and perform leak tests and pilot lighting for propane users. Participate in night and weekend on-call schedules and attend driver meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Class B Commercial Driver's License with hazardous materials endorsement
- CETP training and certification
- Apprentice oil burner license
- Ability to pass a D.O.T. physical
- Subject to pre-employment and random drug testing
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to participate in night and weekend on-call schedule
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of previous truck driving experience
