Job Summary
Drive a delivery truck in your assigned zone to deliver merchandise to customers' homes or businesses, ensuring safe vehicle operations and directing trucks into unloading areas. Load and unload trucks daily, obtaining customer signatures and recording deliveries while monitoring vehicle maintenance and fuel usage. Unload freight from warehouses, maintain cleanliness of store grounds, and assist with stock shelving, display setup, and general maintenance duties. Perform customer service inspections, handle repossessions, and conduct field calls for delinquent accounts as needed. Requires a valid State Driver's License, DOT qualification, and ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- six months experience in a distribution or warehouse environment
- any combination of training, experience and education which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position
- Must possess and maintain a valid State Drivers License
- have a general familiarity with the delivery area
- Must be able to meet DOT requirements
- Medical Examiners Certification
- Driver's DOT qualification file
