Job Summary
US Foods Delivery Driver in Columbus, GA. Safely drive trucks to customers, unload products with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures, and handle potential payments when applicable. Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections and maintain safe driving and loading practices. Position requires CDL Class A with appropriate endorsements and DOT qualifications, minimum six months of commercial driving experience (or three months in food/beverage delivery), ability to read English, and physical ability to lift 20 to 80+ lbs. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with 3–5 AM starts; compensation starts at $27.21/hour plus incentive pay; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401K, life insurance, and safety-focused culture. Required Qualifications
- CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to read and communicate in the English language
