Job Summary
Delivery Driver for the Watertown, SD market responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of automotive and industrial paint products and related supplies to customers from Watertown to Aberdeen, SD. Serves as a company representative during deliveries, focusing on professionalism and customer service. Key duties include operating a company delivery vehicle to transport products to body shops and industrial facilities, loading orders based on invoices or packing slips, unloading at customer sites, maintaining delivery logs and mileage reports, performing daily vehicle inspections, assisting in warehouse duties when needed, and providing excellent service while representing Colours, Inc.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in route delivery required; warehouse or distribution is a plus.
- Good communication skills and a strong customer service mindset.
- Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently
- Knowledge of local delivery routes and territory is helpful
- Demonstrates strong safety awareness and adheres to all DOT, traffic, and company safety regulations.
- Provides excellent customer service; courteous, professional, and responsive at all customer touchpoints.
- Shows strong attention to detail when verifying orders, loading, and completing delivery paperwork.
- Manages time efficiently and can adapt to changes in routes or delivery schedules.
- Communicates clearly with warehouse staff, dispatch, and customers.
- Works well in a team environment and is willing to assist in warehouse operations as needed.
- Comfortable with basic technology tools, such as handheld devices, routing apps, and delivery logs.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing delivery tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintains a clean driving record and always represents Colours, Inc. in a professional manner.
