Job Summary
Operate a company van to deliver large and oversized collision auto parts, such as bumpers and fenders, to wholesale and retail customers. Load and unload parts weighing up to 75 lbs using proper lifting techniques, verify delivery accuracy, and inspect items before departure. Communicate professionally with clients, document issues, and complete daily route sheets and logs. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance concerns immediately while following assigned schedules and safety guidelines. Represent the company in a courteous manner and handle money transactions as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Clean driving record (subject to MVR check)
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs repeatedly
- Able to enter/exit the delivery vehicle frequently throughout the day
- Ability to sit for extended periods while driving
- Must work in various weather conditions
- Basic English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to manage, track and account for money transactions and reconcile customer credit and debt balances
- Ability to utilize a tablet and/or mobile device for purposes of navigation/ route optimization, tracking and customer interface/ signature capture
- Exceptional customer and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively, professionally, with tact and diplomacy
- Ability to take and follow directions and work well with others as part of team
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Prior delivery experience preferred but not required
- Previous delivery driving experience is a plus
