Job Summary
Load flooring bundles from the warehouse into your truck, transport the load to customer locations in the mid-Atlantic and Texas region, and unload bundles according to customer needs and safety protocols. Perform daily pre-trip inspections of the truck, alerting the Ops Manager to any maintenance or mechanical issues. Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness and correct charges, then return paperwork and payments to the Ops Manager. Safely lift and carry up to 100 pounds repetitively while adhering to assigned routes, time schedules, DOT regulations, and all HFP safety protocols. Maintain current drivers and forklift certifications, keep log books, and drive safely with a clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- Class B driver
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clean driving record
- DOT medical certification
- Able to pass a background check and drug test
- Maintain current drivers and forklift certifications
- Follow all HFP safety protocols
- Abiding by all transportation laws
- Maintain safe driving record
- Safely lift and carry up to 100 pounds repetitively
- Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm
- Local deliveries only
