Job Summary
Deliver meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to customer drop-off sites while meeting scheduled delivery times and maintaining productivity. Unload products with a hand truck, place items in customer storage areas, and perform repeated manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds. Make frequent stops during shifts, deliver products in inclement weather, verify deliveries with customers, and collect cash or checks where needed. Work Monday through Friday starting early (3:00am–5:00am) until finish. Register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse as required by the Department of Transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have valid CDL A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT (Department of Transportation) qualified
- Minimum six months commercial truck driving experience or three months of foodservice or food and beverage truck delivery experience required
- Registering to the FMCSA Clearinghouse is a requirement by the Department of Transportation
- Able to perform repeated, manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds
