Job Summary
Transport product between Des Moines Headquarters and regional branches during evening shifts from 5 PM to 8 PM, Monday through Friday. Safely operate tractor trailers and unload products using ramps and hand dollies while adhering to all safety guidelines. Deliver goods to customers professionally and handle physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs frequently and 75 lbs occasionally. Maintain vehicle safety in varying weather conditions and assist with branch-to-branch shuttles as coverage needs arise. Requires a valid interstate driver's license, DOT Med Card recertification, and ability to pass background checks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid interstate eligible driver's license, 21+ or older
- Access to reliable and punctual transportation
- Pass a background check (including sex offender registry)
- Willing to recertify DOT Med Card and pass a DOT drug screen
- Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) and Clearinghouse full query
- Must be able to read and write English
- Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery orders
- Must be comfortable driving tractor trailers
- Must be able to safely operate vehicles at all times and follow all safety guidelines
- Must be comfortable driving and unloading in varying weather conditions
- Deliver and communicate with customers in a professional manner
- Unload products using a ramp and hand dolly
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally
