Job Summary
CDL Driver responsible for delivering equipment and materials to construction sites within the Kansas City metropolitan area, with daily work at the shop in Tonganoxie, KS. Duties include operating and maintaining a commercial vehicle in accordance with safety guidelines, loading and unloading trailers, securing cargo, planning routes, inspecting vehicles, and coordinating with dispatch to meet project schedules. Must comply with DOT regulations, communicate effectively with site managers and teammates, and support ongoing maintenance and safety practices. This is a full-time, non-remote role requiring travel to job sites and regular interaction with construction teams.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and active Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with no manual restriction
- Proven experience as a CDL Driver, preferably in a construction or similar industrial setting
- Thorough understanding of DOT regulations and knowledge of state and federal transport-related laws
