Job Summary
Delivery Driver responsible for executing scheduled daily deliveries, loading/unloading from the warehouse, following GPS-determined routes, verifying inventory against the manifest, collecting signatures and/or payments, delivering to client locations, and maintaining delivery paperwork. Requires a valid CDL-B license, clean driving record, ability to lift 25 pounds, and DOT language proficiency; professional customer service and strong time-management skills are essential. DOT physical is required. Training and safety compliance per company and state regulations are expected. This role emphasizes reliable, accurate deliveries and positive client interactions in a food-service distribution environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL B)
- Clean driving record
- DOT physical
- Proficient at driving and parking large vehicles
- Physically fit and able to lift 25 pounds
- Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus
- Ability to read and understand English sufficiently to communicate with the public and complete reports
