Job Summary
Ensure inventory stock matches delivery requirements and follow set, scheduled routes for daily deliveries. Load and organize product inventory from the warehouse into your vehicle, unload products throughout the day, and verify that inventory matches the manifest. Scan or write in confirmation of delivery upon arrival, collect signatures and payments, and deliver goods to specific client locations. Check in with the warehouse on delivery progress as needed and maintain all delivery paperwork. Report any accidents or vehicle issues to supervisors and always follow road rules and safety requirements for loading and unloading. Maintain a clean driving record and possess a valid CDL A.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent certification
- Valid commercial driver's license
- Clean driving record with no moving violations
- Must Pass a DOT physical
- Proficient at driving and parking large vehicles
- Physically fit and strong, able to lift 25 pounds comfortably
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public
- Ability to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language
- Ability to respond to official inquiries
- Ability to make entries on reports and records
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts
