Job Summary
Delivery Driver responsible for prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers on an assigned route. Duties include delivering to customer accounts using a company vehicle (non-CDL), packaging radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, testing, loading/unloading containers, and ensuring safety standards and DOT regulations. Operates handheld tablet for order verification, route information, and navigation; maintains vehicle and logs; performs general facility cleanup; participates in required training (biohazard waste handling, HIPAA, radiation safety, dosimetry, etc.), and may work night shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations. Requires ability to lift up to 75 pounds, drive in various conditions, and provide safe, efficient service across day/night routes, including potential overnight transport between facilities. Emphasis on customer service, route optimization, and adherence to safety standards in a healthcare/pharmacy operation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent or equivalent work experience
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record
- Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
- Prior delivery driving experience a plus
- Ability to lift containers weighing up to 75 pounds
- Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work weekends or be in a weekend rotation required
- Ability to work holidays or be in a holiday rotation required
- Ability to work on call or be in an on-call rotation required
- Flexibility to work various shifts or overtime as needed
- Ability to use computers and tablets
