Job Summary
Provide delivery of materials to Border States branches and customer sites, loading and unloading at locations while coordinating routes based on business needs. Maintain delivery vehicles in clean, good working condition by scheduling DOT/state mandated inspections, completing daily driver logs, and updating inspection reports. Perform warehouse functions including order filling, stocking shelves, receiving, and shipping as required. Assist the City Desk with customer service tasks such as order entry, expediting, and Will Call operations. Monitor maintenance and mileage data, pay truck expenses, and ensure adherence to all traffic and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license to operate company vehicles
- Current medical certification
- Clean driving record
- Criminal background check
- Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
- Drug testing
Desired Qualifications
- 2-years of work experience
- Prior warehouse distribution experience including forklift operation and good knowledge of electrical products/systems
- Working knowledge of PC for Windows and internet
- SAP software
