Job Summary
Provide delivery of materials to Border States branches and customer sites based on business needs. Maintain delivery vehicles in clean, good working condition, monitor maintenance and mileage data, and schedule DOT/state mandated inspection visits. Complete daily driver logs, vehicle inspection sheets, truck summaries, and backup details; pay truck expenses and update appropriate records. Load and unload material at branch and customer locations. Perform warehouse functions including order filling, stocking shelves, processing returns, receiving, and shipping as needed. Conduct Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) as part of daily routes, check and pack delivered material, and maintain shipping equipment. Assist the City Desk and Will Call areas with order entry, filling orders, processing returns, expediting, and technical assistance. Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic and safety regulations while providing exceptional customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license to operate company vehicles
- Current medical certification
- Clean driving record
- Must be able to lift and carry weights ranging from 0 to 101+ lbs based on frequency and location (Floor to Waist, Above Waist, Unilateral Carry, Bilateral Carry)
- Must be able to sit continuously
- Must be able to stand occasionally
- Must be able to walk frequently
- Must be able to bend/stoop occasionally
- Must be able to climb/walk stairs occasionally
- Must be able to reach continuously
- Must be able to kneel occasionally
- Must be able to balance frequently
- Must be able to perform repetitive motion occasionally
- Must be able to perform trunk rotation occasionally
- Must be able to push/pull occasionally

Desired Qualifications
- 2-years of work experience
- Prior warehouse distribution experience
- Forklift operation
- Good knowledge of electrical products/systems
- Working knowledge of PC for Windows and internet
- SAP software
