Job Summary
Pick up and drop off business essential items to and from job sites, service personnel, and the warehouse while maintaining constant contact with the Warehouse Manager. Keep the manager informed of your location at all times and report any vehicle mechanical problems or tool deficiencies immediately. Assist in truck inventory counts and perform weekly organization of your vehicle's interior and exterior. Make deliveries to installation, new construction, and service jobs as needed, including after-hours service and out-of-town trips with overnight stays when required. Maintain a neat, professional appearance in uniform and handle customer interactions diplomatically.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Trade school or equivalent
- Ability to work without close supervision
- Ability to perform their job in a neat, professional manner
- Ability to deal diplomatically and effectively with customers and employees
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work with step ladders and extension ladders
- Not afraid of heights
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds above your waist
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must pass insurance requirements
- Must be able to pull and back up a trailer
