Job Summary
Delivery Driver at Best-One – Safely operate a box truck under 26,000 pounds (CDL not required) to pick up, drive, deliver, and unload products along designated routes; provide customer service, process payments/invoices, and communicate with shipping/receiving; perform pre/post trip inspections; adhere to safety and company policies; physical conditioning for frequent lifting and handling in a non-climate-controlled environment; requirement includes a valid driver’s license, ability to obtain a DOT medical card, and a high school diploma or GED (preferred). Location: Indianapolis, IN. Full-time role with competitive pay and benefits including holidays, health/dental/vision, 401-K, training, and uniform program.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving history
- Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card
- Ability to pass a state Department of Transportation medical exam
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Some distribution/supply experience preferred
- Some computer skills preferred; data entry skills a plus
- Commitment to customer service
- Ability to follow store policies and procedures
- Ability to read and complete instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment
- Willingness to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to operate in non climate-controlled environment
- Vision and hearing requirements for safety
