Job Summary
Conduct pre-departure vehicle inspections, pack and load products per company specifications, and deliver orders to customers on assigned routes. Maintain ongoing communication with the route dispatcher, unload goods as specified, and review deliveries with clients to ensure product needs are met. Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer and assist the Department Team Leader with daily tasks or equipment issues. Work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented manufacturing/warehouse environment requiring the ability to lift 100 pounds and input accurate data into computers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum 1 year's experience as Delivery Driver
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift 100 pounds and push or pull 150 pounds
- Ability to read reports, orders, and other documentation
- Ability to see and read reports, and other documentation
- Ability to hear
- Ability to use fingers to handle paper and input data into computers
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Ability to input detailed and accurate data into computers, tablet or phone
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and work independently
- Must possess a positive and professional attitude
