Job Summary
Delivery Driver responsible for picking orders, loading/unloading, and delivering a variety of parts and products to different business locations within the region. Duties include verifying orders before leaving the store, operating delivery vehicles safely, adhering to routes, completing pre-trip inspection reports, and providing exceptional customer service while following provincial and federal motor vehicle regulations. Primary responsibilities also include adhoc warehouse duties and maintaining professionalism; schedule may include weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Be 25 years of age or older
- Have a minimum of 3 years of driving history
- Have a valid class 5 Driver’s License or higher
- Provide a 3 year drivers abstract showing no more than 2 infractions in the last 3 years AND no suspensions
- Minimum 3 consecutive years of insurable driving history with NO lapses
- Acceptable coverage includes Personal auto insurance as the primary named insured, or Continuous coverage under employer's commercial fleet policy
- Driver Training or Defensive Driving and/or Professional driver training is considered an asset
- 3 years of driving experience in all weather conditions
- Read, write, and speak English proficiently
- Canadian citizen or permanent residency
- Must be physically able to lift in excess of 50 lbs and work in indoor/outdoor conditions
