Job Summary
Delivery Associate duties include safely operating a company delivery vehicle, delivering packages on time, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, working in all weather conditions, providing excellent customer service, using smartphone devices for GPS and scanning, and adapting to a dynamic environment. Role is in-person, based at Amazon Warehouse: DYN7 in Red Hook, Brooklyn, with up to 40 hours/week and shifts up to 8 hours/day. Starting pay is $23.75 per hour, with benefits including 401K, PTO, and health, vision, and dental insurance for full-time employees.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver’s license
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must have a clean motor vehicle report
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is not required
- Must be able to communicate well
- Must be able to move packages up to 50 lbs
- Must be customer oriented with a ‘Safety-Always’ mindset
- Must be available and willing to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) as part of the weekly schedule
