Job Summary
Conduct 60% of duties as a Delivery Driver, ensuring all Verve products reach wholesale customers and cafes safely, securely, and on schedule while maintaining accurate documentation and vehicle checks. Perform 40% of duties as a Production Operator, executing filling and packaging procedures, operating equipment like forklifts and weigh machines, and performing quality checks to fulfill daily output goals. This hybrid role requires loading/unloading vehicles, building rapport with customers, and assisting with inventory counts in a fast-paced facility. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, experience in customer-facing roles, and the ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 50 lbs
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Familiarity with GPS devices and local area knowledge
- Ability to think on your feet and resolve issues independently
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Basic Google Drive, Google Sheets, Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Proactive mindset, a problem solver with the ability to work independently and a strong attention to detail
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Comfortability with in-person customer service, demonstrating the ability to build positive relationships with customers
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, team-player, safety conscious
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to lift products and packaging overhead
