Job Summary
Deliver orders to designated locations on time with a focus on punctuality and courteous service. Read and navigate using a basic road map; maintain delivery vehicles before and after shifts; assist in food preparation, taking orders, cleaning, and rotating shipments. Uphold safety and quality by verifying orders, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring proper cash handling and customer interactions. May work outdoors in various conditions; job involves lifting up to 50 pounds and potentially long hours, including nights and weekends. Training will be provided; wage is hourly with tips and mileage reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license under the laws of the state of employment
- Two or more years of licensed driving
- Acceptable motor vehicle record (no more than two moving violations and one accident in last 3 years)
- Be insured and have a satisfactory vehicle
- Ability to work long hours, including nights and weekends
- Willingness to cross-train and perform other duties (food preparation, taking orders, cleaning) as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of reading a basic road map
- Cash handling skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Customer-focused with initiative
- Knowledge of product details, services, charges, and related information
