Job Summary
Deliver orders to designated locations on time and provide courteous customer service. Read maps to learn delivery area, assist with food preparation, take orders, and rotate food shipments. Maintain delivery vehicles before and after shifts and ensure proper cleaning of store and equipment. Handle cash payments and carry out duties such as cleaning and maintenance. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work outdoors in various temperatures, in noisy environments, near moving equipment, and around fumes or dust. Position may require long hours, including nights and weekends, and opportunities to cross-train and perform other restaurant duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Have a valid driver's license from the state of employment, and at least two years of licensed driving
- Have an acceptable motor vehicle report/driving abstract with no more than two moving violations and one accident in the last year
- Be insured and have a satisfactory vehicle
- Be willing to work long hours, including nights and weekends
- Capability to cross-train and perform other duties within the restaurant as needed
- Attention to detail and a sense of urgency
- Customer-focused with initiative
- Cash management skills
- Comfort with reading basic road maps
