Job Summary
Delivery Driver responsible for delivering pizzas and other items to residential and commercial locations on assigned routes; inspects vehicle, reviews deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs, maintains high standards of customer service in a fast-paced environment, handles currency and credit transactions, communicates with store and dispatcher for efficient routing, and assists with prep and store duties as needed. Must be 18+, have a valid driver's license, and be capable of navigating routes, reading orders, and maintaining vehicle and store standards while providing excellent customer service and building repeat business.
Required Qualifications
- Be no less than eighteen (18) years of age
- Possess a valid state driving license
- Have use of a properly maintained, licensed and street-legal vehicle capable of driving upwards of one hundred (100) miles per day
- Must be able to pass applicable Company Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and background checks
- Be capable of reading a map, locating addresses and interpreting GPS directions within designated delivery area
- Navigate multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as needed in interactions with management, and customers
- Multitasking abilities and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
