Job Summary
Delivery Driver (4380) — Delivers pizzas and other items to residential and commercial locations on assigned routes, inspects vehicle, processes cash/credit transactions, and delivers exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Maintains routing with store/dispatcher, communicates effectively with management and customers, assembles orders per specifications, participates in prep and stocking duties, and supports company-wide duties including maintaining clean work areas and adherence to policies. Must be at least 18, have driving experience and a valid license, and be able to operate a vehicle and navigate delivery routes while ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Eighteen (18) years of age
- Two (2) years driving experience
- Possess a valid state driving license
- Properly maintained vehicle capable of driving upwards of 100 miles per day
- Ability to pass applicable Company Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and background checks
- Cell phone for calling customers
- Read map and interpret GPS directions
- Navigate delivery area
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Multi-tasking ability
- Adaptability to changing priorities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic mathematical ability for monetary change
- Be able to read order slips/receipts and prepare orders accordingly
- Maintain cleanliness of work stations and display cases
- Adhere to quality standards and company policies
