Job Summary
Conduct pizza and other item deliveries to residential and commercial locations on assigned routes while inspecting the vehicle and reviewing orders with customers. Maintain high standards of customer service, handle currency and credit transactions accurately, and communicate clearly with management and the dispatcher to prioritize efficient routing. Assemble and fold boxes, affix labels, and assist with prep, while reading order slips or receiving verbal instructions to prepare multiple orders simultaneously. Clean, stock, and restock work stations and display cases, resolving complaints promptly and taking initiative for extra tasks when scheduled duties are complete.
Required Qualifications
- No less than eighteen (18) years of age
- Two (2) years driving experience
- Valid state driving license
- Use of a properly maintained, licensed and street-legal vehicle capable of driving upwards of one hundred (100) miles per day
- Minimal or higher insurance coverage as mandated by state law
- Ability to pass applicable Company Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and background checks
- Possess a cell phone to use for calling customers
- Ability to read a map, locate addresses and interpret Global Positioning System (GPS) directions within designated delivery area
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superb ability to multi-task
- Ability to function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability to adjust to changing priorities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide accurately and quickly
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
