Delivery Driver (4329)

Delivery pizza and other items to residential and commercial locations on assigned routes. Inspects vehicle before deliveries. Reviews deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs. Maintains high standards of customer service during high-volume, fast-paced operations. Communicates clearly and positively with management and team members. Provides excellent customer service to encourage repeat customers, delivering professionally and promptly. Maintains on-going communication with store and dispatcher to prioritize efficient routing. Handles currency and credit transactions quickly and accurately. Follows procedures for safe food preparation, assembly and presentation. Builds loyal customers through friendly interactions and consistent appreciation. Resolves complaints promptly and professionally. Takes initiative to find extra tasks when scheduled duties are complete. Assembles and folds boxes. Affixes labels and promotional materials as needed. Assists with prep. Reads order slips or receives verbal instructions to prepare orders according to specifications. Reads multiple orders simultaneously. Cleans, stocks and restocks work stations and display cases. Adheres to quality standards, principles, guidelines and policies. Performs other duties as assigned. Company-wide responsibilities include promoting policies, ensuring attendance, providing feedback, maintaining communication, serving as a resource, cross-training, coordinating with management, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Must be at least eighteen years old with two years driving experience, possess a valid state driver’s license, have access to a properly maintained vehicle, maintain required insurance, pass MVR and background checks, be able to read maps and use GPS, navigate delivery areas, communicate effectively with customers and management, multi-task, work independently or as part of a team, and perform monetary calculations accurately.
