Job Summary
Operate a 26' box truck safely, loading and unloading products while adhering to food safety standards. Maintain route schedules to ensure timely deliveries, inspect the vehicle for safety compliance, and keep accurate records of deliveries and maintenance. Provide exceptional customer service and build relationships with clients. Work Monday through Saturday starting at 3AM or 4AM, with a weekly schedule of 35-45 hours. Earn $22.50/hour plus an annual safety bonus of up to $4k. The role supports a mission-driven distributor of local foods committed to connecting local farms with customers.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience driving a box truck (26' or larger)
- Monday-Saturday, starting at 3AM/4AM
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and perform physical activities related to loading and unloading
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Flexibility in handling changing routes and delivery schedules
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with food safety protocols is a plus
