Job Summary
Provide timely delivery and pick-up of customer equipment, breathing air, and bottle trailers to designated locations while maintaining courteous customer relations. Operate breathing air compressors to fill air cylinders safely and serve as an Air Shop Technician for equipment inspection, cleaning, servicing, and testing when directed. Respond immediately to work requests from the Operations Dispatcher and inspect all equipment for damage or excessive wear in compliance with DOT regulations. Report unsafe tasks and incidents to management and continuously upgrade skills for new assignments. Requires Class A CDL license, hazmat endorsement, and willingness to work rotating on-call weekends and nights.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Willingness and ability to receive a Class A CDL License and hazmat endorsements within 90 days of hire
- Valid TWIC card required
- Must be the age of 23 or older
- Must be able to enter client sites without restrictions
- Minimum of 90 days driving experience
- Willingness and ability to work on-call – weekend and nights
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to regularly push and/or pull 110 pounds (wheeled rack)
- Rotating on-call schedule to include weekends required
Desired Qualifications
- Current Medical Card preferred
- Exposure servicing SCBA/SAR respiratory equipment & Breathing Air Filling procedures preferred
- Fork Lift Operator (Desirable)
