Job Summary
Conduct assembly and delivery operations by deburring, spot facing, riveting, and trim panels while packing goods into shipping containers and developing mailing labels. Move product within the facility, receive shipments, and process orders with precision in paperwork. Ship via UPS, FedEx, USPS, and freight carriers, organizing supplies and tracking inventory regularly. Pull parts for delivery and packaging based on counts, assemble various parts from work orders, and operate a forklift and non-CDL truck and trailer for deliveries and pickups. Read and comprehend instructions to follow established procedures in a fabrication shop shipping and receiving environment with outdoor exposure.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Mechanically Inclined
- High level of attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
- Willingness to adhere to all safety requirements: Safety shoes and glasses
- Driver's license and clean driving record
- High school diploma/ GED
- Willingness to operate a forklift/ training for forklift
- Willingness to drive truck and trailer (non CDL) for deliveries and pickups
- Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
- Must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds
- Must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds
- Must occasionally lift/ or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
