Job Summary
Deliver pizzas and beverages to customers within a designated area using a personal insured vehicle with a valid license and safe driving record. Navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and varying weather conditions while carrying product weighing up to 50 pounds. Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and walk-in coolers, prepare product, receive telephone orders, and make correct monetary change. Clean equipment and facility daily, take inventory, and complete associated paperwork. Perform repetitive tasks such as pushing trays on dollies, climbing stairs, and navigating cramped quarters while adhering to strict quality control standards.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area and must be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Far vision and night vision for driving
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
- Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgements and decisions
- Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
- Ability to lift and stack cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds with dimensions of up to 3' x 1.5'
- Ability to carry trays of pizza dough weighing approximately 12 pounds per tray
- Ability to carry pizzas and beverages while performing walking and climbing duties
- Ability to climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance
- Ability to navigate five or more flights of stairs
- Ability to perform forward bending at the waist
- Ability to crouch/squat to stock shelves and clean low areas
- Ability to reach above 72" occasionally
- Ability to push a stack of trays on a dolly requiring a force of up to 7.5 pounds
- Ability to pull trays
- Ability to deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area
