Job Summary
Operate a vehicle to deliver orders within a designated area, navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, and unload bulk product deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds using a hand truck. Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and walk-in cooler, prepare product, and receive telephone orders while making correct monetary change. Clean equipment and facility daily, take inventory, and complete associated paperwork. Work in varying weather conditions and temperatures ranging from 36 to 90 degrees, handling hot surfaces up to 500 degrees and cornmeal dust. Perform repetitive tasks standing or sitting, lifting trays of dough and carrying large cans, while communicating verbally with customers and co-workers.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- valid driver's license
- safe driving record meeting company standards
- access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- navigational skills to read a map
- ability to locate addresses within designated delivery area
- ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings
- ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
